Dmitry Kozenkov

Dmitry Kozenkov has led American pharmaceutical companies in Kazakhstan for over 7 years. He joined Pfizer after 9 years as Eli Lilly Country Manager for Central Asia, Ukraine and Mongolia. He takes special pride in bringing Pfizer’s innovative vaccines to fight the COVID-19 pandemic in Kazakhstan,ensuring access to the very best medicines.

 Dmitry Kozenkov is a long-term member of the AmCham-Prime Minister’sCouncil to Improve the Investment Climate and has delivered many presentations to the Council, both about Pfizer and about broader issues in healthcare reform.  At the Prime Minister’s request, he has also delivered healthcare presentations to the full Cabinet of Ministers at their weekly Cabinet meetings.  He has addressed the AmCham Healthcare Reform Working Group with commentary on the new Health Code, pharmaceutical pricing legislation, and pharmaceutical localization in Kazakhstan.

 Originally a financial specialist, he served as Financial Controller for Infrastructure, Construction, and Development at Basic Element and held treasury, corporate finance, and management reporting responsibility for major projects across Russia and the CIS, including PPP projects such as the St.Petersburg Ring Road and the Sochi Olympic infrastructure development.  During his years at KPMG in Moscow, he servedas an IFRS Auditor to large Russian and multinational companies across various industries.  

 Dmitry Kozenkov received his degree in Finance from Dubna InternationalUniversity and holds an ACCA certificate
