Andrew is an honorary board member of AmCham Kazakhstan.
Andrew Glass joined U.S. Consulate Almaty as senior commercialofficer in July 2024. In this role, he manages a team of eight to growU.S.-Kazakhstan bilateral trade, advocate for U.S. companies in Kazakhstan, andpromote foreign direct investment to create high quality jobs in the UnitedStates.
Andrew previously served as commercial attaché and Eurasia partnerpost manager within U.S. Mission Türkiye. During his tour in Türkiye, he workedto engage the CS Eurasia partner post markets—comprising Armenia, Azerbaijan,Georgia, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan—to become the highest performing partnerpost region in the world.
Before joining Mission Türkiye, Andrew served at the BaltimoreU.S. Export Assistance Center. Prior to joining the Department of Commerce,Andrew worked for Georgetown University in communications, external relations,and business development, concluding his tenure as senior director forcommunications and external relations within the School of Continuing Studies.
Andrew holds an MBA, B.A. in government and Spanish, andcertificate in teaching English as a foreign language from GeorgetownUniversity.
