Economist Conferences is holding the 11th Russia Business Roundtable on February 11th 2009 in Moscow. This high-level forum offers an exclusive opportunity for senior businesspeople to explore the key economic issues with their peers, and hear from business leaders and policy experts. The one-day event is designed to enable interactive, off-the-record sharing of ideas on the future of Russian business.
The global financial crisis has hit hard Russia hard, forcing businesses to tear up their strategic plans and reach for cost-cutting measures. While managers must deal with the short-term turmoil, they also need to look for signs of the emerging new landscape. What will that landscape look like? And how can businesses prepare to compete in the new economic era?
Confirmed speakers include Arkady Dvorkovich, Aide to President Medvedev, Oleg Deripaska, Chairman of Basic Element and Chris Gubbey, President and Managing Director, GM Russia & CIS. The Roundtable will be chaired by Daniel Thorniley, Senior Vice-president of the Economist Intelligence Unit.
