Senior Associate position available at Baker & McKenzie’s Almaty Office.

Baker & McKenzie looks for talented and experienced professionals for our growing Almaty team. The company specifically requires top level, professional lawyers specializing in the following areas: Mergers and Acquisitions, Banking and Finance; Corporate Finance/Corporate Securities; Dispute Resolution and Litigation.

Candidates should fulfill the following requirements:
● 5+ years work experience with a major international law firm in any of the relevant areas mentioned above;
● A strong academic record (local diploma with honors and LLM from a well regarded university abroad);
● Fluency in English (both legal writing/drafting skills and oral);
● Good people skills and leadership qualities (with an ability to supervise, train and manage junior lawyers);
● Strong client service ethic;
● An ability to work well both as a part of a team and to take the responsibility for projects; and
● An interest in a long term career in the Firm.
