The 2nd Academic Tax Conference/Symposium is being organized by a KIMEP team led by Professor Tomas Balco, Chair of the AmCham Almaty and Astana Tax Working Groups.  The symposium takes place within the 7th KIMEP International Research Conference, March 25-26, 2010. The symposium will be organized in the form of 6 panel sessions on topics such as Tax Education and the Tax Profession in Kazakhstan, Tax Planning and Tax Avoidance, Transfer Pricing, Subsurface User Taxation in Central Asia and other specialized topics related to taxation and FDI.  More than 25 research papers in total will be presented by both KIMEP students and foreign academics and tax professionals.
