The American Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan exists to serve its members as a forum through which members express their interests and concerns and as an authoritative body interacting with government agencies in Kazakhstan and abroad to effect an improvement in the business environment for our members.
We provide services for the business community and plan events enabling our members to meet and interact with each other, as well as with senior policy-makers.

Investors’ Voice magazine puts your advertisement or your company news on the desks of Kazakhstan’s major business decision-makers and service-seekers.
The Chamber’s magazine, published every two months, has a distribution of 3,000-3,500 readers globally, reaching not only members in Kazakhstan, but business leaders and key policy-makers across the Central Asian region, the Middle East, Europe, and North America.
The Magazine also provides an excellent opportunity to its Members to alert the reading audience about the most important news and events taking place within the companies. AmCham Newsletter
The Newsletter is a one-page electronic communication sent out to more than 2,000 recepients every two weeks. It carries updates on Chamber activities, a calendar of upcoming AmCham events and conferences of interest to members, as well as special offers. It also carries a variety of links to the AmCham website, for instance, to a resume data-base for job-seekers and employers. All AmCham members can post their news and special offers in the Newsletter.
Working Groups
The Chamber’s Working Groups provide the best opportunity for members to gather together under leadership of a WG Chair to discuss in a closed setting current problems or issues, to examine the latest legislation, and to decide on courses of action within a specialized professional area. The following Groups work presently: Foreign Investment WG, Almaty Tax WG, Atyrau Tax WG, Astana Tax WG, Corporate Social Responsibility WG, Human Resources WG, Trade and Customs WG, Information Communication Technologies WG.
MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES and ANNUAL FEE:
- Corporate* A (worldwide revenues in excess of 100 million USD) $4,000
- Corporate B (worldwide revenues between 2-100 million USD) $3,000
- Corporate C (worldwide revenues not exceeding 2 million USD) $2,000
- Non-Profit $1,000
- Individual** $500
*Corporate membership entitles a company to delegate 3 individuals as Chamber voting members. The number of persons from each company participating in working groups, business roundtables, and social events is usually not limited.
**Individual memberships are available only under special circumstances, for persons not associated with a company.
TO APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP, you should complete the attached membership application form and return it to Anna Elibol at: anna.elibol@amcham.kz or by fax: +7 727 258 79 42. In addition to the application form, you should submit a short company profile.
All applications are approved by the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan. It takes approximately one week to review the application materials and make a decision. Once the application has been approved, the new member will receive a Welcome Letter that includes an invoice for annual membership fees.
